i actually have that one planned out, but since i can't model, that's what I have for now.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, I don't have a scanner or digital camera. i can tell you what it's supposed to be tho: if any of you have played independence war 2, it's a SnRV freighter.

you're already drifting off design, then; you need to start by having the upper deck divided up into 6 squares, and then slightly extrude & shrink them.

The underside then is slightly smaller and you have those diagonal girders connecting from the side to the edges of the cargo deck.  and also a bit more complex frontal area with both a dock and a bridge section.

i.e. it's not just a square plate.
