Brings back memories of Siberia in Timesplitters 2. Me and this one guy had things down pat - who would shoot which camera, who would run for the camera controls when, who would cover the place where the sniper appeared...that sort of thing.

Everyone said it was just a remake of Goldeneye, with no originality whatsoever, so I'll be looking forward to this.

Even that picture makes me think "I WANT TO BE THERE!!" Either that's some damn good modelling, or the HL2 withdrawal is setting in. Damn Cedega with no sound...

eh, those screenshots look quite generic to me. At the same time, Goldeneye was quite cool. I remember playing that at a friend's house several times many years ago.

I have to say... I'm excited but looking at the screenshots it's not like they've improved on the maps at all. You'd think they could update the geometry and add some interesting stuff in.

Indeed.  Cradle does look good, but for the rest surely they could add in some touches from the movie that weren't technically possible on the N64 - imagine the Arkangel escape scene where you can have proper bouncy barrel physics (in the movie, Bond creates a distraction by blowing open a big storage thing holding barrels, which bounce onto people as barrels in moves are wont to do).

Cool, but hopefully they'll make it more realistic and less like it's for a system that came out years ago. Even little stuff like used coffee cups on desks, debris and construction, papers strewn about, active monitors, etc...

Amen!  The N64 was the last console that I bought, and I still find its games to have the best combination of playability and graphics to date.  I'm glad I still have mine around.

Can't stand the 64's controller (PS1 Dual Shocks for me ), but I do love quite a few of its games, probably Ocarina of Time most of all.  I finally bought a used one early this year, and I'm attempting to play through GoldenEye's singleplayer, which I find to be surprisingly hard.  I've played multiplayer a few times, and I'll agree that it was a great party game; it's nice to see old classics revived like this.
