Actually hdrish is not why my ships are so shiny and beautiful. You see, environmental reflections was implimented for opengl. This happens when you use the zeta's(most of the ships now have alpha maps) with the 3.6.9 recent build release from yesterday(it has environmental hull reflections), hell, there's even a beta launcher out for testing(enables further features for opengl). I promise if you use them you will be happy

Hey guys, I think we need a new splash screen for 3.6.9     Any ideas?  Preferably something showing off the environment mapping, but beams are also nice.  A close shot of cockpit reflections perhaps, with madness going on in the background?  Ideas?

bfobar's recreation of the front of the box would also be cool, with some updates.  (How'd you do that anyway?  Special mission setup?  If so, please share!)

As far as hdrish goes, i use hdrish-lite. And ati cards can support it as long as it is dx9.0 compliant. Dx8.1 compliant cards wont be able to do it, as cobra will tell you so If anyone wants the smartshaders, i'll send it to you. As far as loading the smartshaders go umm. There's a psscontrol2.exe that loads them, or much better preferred to load them with the omega drivers, or by tossing them in the smartshader directory of your ati drivers(idk if that one works, i've sold my soul to omegas).

Uh, well, I know it's not screenies, but I mentioned a while ago that I was making a sort of video-montage of FS. Well, the thing is, I still need to splice them together at the right spots, but I have a while heap of video takes lying around on my HD. More disturbingly, as far as I know I can only encode them one-by-one, which takes ages, so I sort of leave them all uncompressed...which has the effect of leaving me with several GBs of FS videos

Hmmm, yes, very sad pic of the deimos dying you rebel. You get a gtva court tribunal hearing execution, or plunger induced lethal injection. Don't know what you want to choose there charismatic I would follow suit and take more pics myself, but starting my own computer repair business with a partner is actually working very well to bring in the money. But that shot cobra did on the fenris not blowing up, that's a nice shot.

if you press Shift+O you can remove the HUD so you won't need to use the "Look with numpad zero" thing. also you can use bullet time (alt+pause). myself, i use time compression 0.25 for some of my shots.
