Re: 3.6.8 Screenshots (WARNING: Not 56k friendly!)
Into the Depths of Hell has some imaginative things in it. Think something of a half-way point between Infrno and FS2. Here, I'll show you....

Took this shot myself, from Chapter 2, the blockade in Gamma Draconis. It was, unfortunately, taken before I upgraded to 3.6.8

No, But I know how to get HDRish on this way:

Download

This also...

Extract Psscontrol2 to any folder

Extract the contents of entries.zip to that folder also... run Psscontrol2 > browse > HDRish

@Sarafan,  you should modify your nameplate.dds texture to be 2X2 pixels, that multicolored rectangle isn't supposed to be there.

I'd help, but I just switched to Linux and I don't have FSO installed yet

Debian rocks, but it doesn't like my mobo nor my PCI Radeon

No, but we are getting multi-architecture bloom in the SCP sometime after 3.6.9 is released.

For this I shall post two of my most worthy screens, behold:

they're cool, but they have the low poly ravana, which is a bit of a shame considering the unreleased HTL version is so much better looking..

I know, I know. But you said it: unreleased, I saw what the HTL looks so far and would love to see that in fight against the GTVA but when? When? :( The waiting is the worst part.

For everyone (not just NVIDIA)? Because the only reason I use HDRish light is for bloom...

Re: 3.6.8 Screenshots (WARNING: Not 56k friendly!)
the explosion effects look cheap. Sorry for whoever made them, the work was a lot, I know, but they look too much like a fizzly firecracker, and less like a big explosion, to me.
