hey, don't look at me, I heard that on the BBC. Aww, that was uber-close. 89th minute for christ sake. its too bad, it would have given Badgio a nice chance for a proper farewell...

it occurs to me that this is one of the rare instances in which both the loser and the winners are celebrating, namely Sweden and Denmark.

yeah, me and my neighbour, whom I was watching the game with, were  somewhat of two nervous wrecks in the end their. did that 2-2 goal feel good or what? I usually have to be drunk to feel this happy.

the keyword being "almost". I don't think we'll have it easy against germany nor holland. sweden needs to work on the defense, we give the opposing teams way to many shots at our goal. also, it doesn't work to have our team members slip on the grass all the effing time. I hope it'll be against germany, anyway.

so, what about latvia? no chance they'll make it.

btw, was that german ref we had drunk or something?

Ow, I so hope Holland goes through tonight (with the help of a small miracle). Then it'll be Holland - Sweden :D That would be an awesome game. ;)

I'm German, and I guess I should be somewhat enthusiastic - regarding the history against the Czechs (4 wins out of 4 games) and regarding our team is one point ahead of Holland.

But I'm not. Hardly anybody here believes we'll make it. Having seen the game against Latvia, with this awful offence...that's no good. Most of the forward players won't score even if the Czechs play without a goalkeeper...

But that won't prevent me from being most hopeful tonight. Though it means Holland is out, which, without offence, must be regarded as their own fault.
