Wow. Now if only they included an HLP link...

BTW, mad props to whoever made the Perseus. It's apparently the most impressive.

Hey, thats great!  :wakka: :yes2:
Now I'd like to see the french article as well, just... I don't understand french...  :(

Anyway, that's good news (or so I at least hope...).
And speaking of big ships... in a few hundred years they might be able to mention Machina Terra as well, right? (just joking... ;)  )

Is it just me, or has the HLP server really slowed down over the past few hours, is it loading alot slower for anyone else?

Re: Freespace Open gets a mention in PC Gamer (UK)
I dont recall ever claiming that it was the largest ship (scale-wise) in FSO, but it does have 50k polys that have yet to be matched in this engine. :)

Actually you said almost exactly the sentence that is mentioned on the page at one point but you were refering to poly count so the phrase has probably been mistakenly taken out of context.

They may have taken it out of the context of the team statement I wrote concerning the alpha leak. I didn't emphasise the fact of its poly count being high, and looking at the team statement right now, I realise I made a mistake. Sorry about that, that's my fault for not spelling it out properly in the first place.

I'm getting it too. And the SCP website seemed slow as well. That said thanks to Skippy I'm uploading the cutscenes so maybe it's that :)

Congrats to everyone!

(Not just the SCP team, since without all the cool models and effect, they wouldn't have must to show off, now would they?:D)

Same here.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Wow... that publicity is just awesome. Way to go, guys!!
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
