When I first played that, I just wanted to get out of that nebula, go back home, maybe fight some NTF baddies and just forget all about the Shivans.

I nearly died when I heard that voice screaming 'Dive dive dive! Hit your burners pilot!' I had the volume up way high (I like to feel it when I get rocked by flack or rolled by beams  ) and I wasn't ready for that.
