Reminds me about when i use to own the real fs1. That mission where you have to escort the transport holding the vasudan scientists that found the ancient ruins and how to destroy the lucifer...past the hol destroyer. Never an easy mission, that's the hardest mission in all of freespace. Only once did i fulfill all of the objectives without failing any of them. That mission is the only mission that makes me play it over and over again just because i want to get it right.
Anyway, after the transport was gone, the destroyer was like disabled, but it was spitting out fighters, and everyone else left. So it was just me flying an interceptor or apollo i think. And i just kept taking out all of the fighters that destroyer had to offer. I was having a hell of a time too. I mean it was too easy, i had to keep watching my ass nonstop. I kept on fighting all of these thoths and horuses. It was around when i reached 50 kills in that mission that i was like oh ****, i'm the only guy left, wtf am i still doing here? The rest of the mission had finished and i didn't know it. I was barely able to warp out alive. Scored myself 50kills in one mission from zods, and i didn't enjoy doing it either, zod fighters a lot more challenging than shivans, and at of my fs inexperience, i pulled off a miracle, but no it wasn't fun, so many times during the 50 kills that i nearly got blasted to ****.
