Drunk again, damnit I need a better use of my time.
Oh and I'm Catholic but don't have any problems with homosexuality as long as they understand I'm straight and not willing to experiment. They can get married for all I care, why should straight people have the monopoly on misery.
For that matter I find the whole women's health issue our government seems locked into a gross misuse of time better used solving legitimate problems as well. So what if our religion is against contraception, like all things it's a choice to be made on a individual level. If you remove the sin of temptation (right or wrong) just because they are temptations then are you truly all that strong in your faith. Having the option doesn't necessarily mean you have to use it if you choose not to so what really is the problem. Hell some women's very lives depends on the effects of birth control pills, would you deny them the right to live over something written nearly 2000 years ago and as far as I know doesn't mention contraception at all. The only related sin specifically mentioned is that of spilling ones seed outside of reproduction purposes and that makes masturbation a sin by definition yet most don't have a problem with that and do it anyway. Honestly that one was probably written to combat under-population during biblical times. Not really all that important in this age where we face over-population.
