Most likely case is that you've pulled a muscle, though if you are truly worried see your local GP. It's their job to listen to us when we think something is wrong.

nope.  none of my friends skim, so i'm usually by myself.  there might be a few of me taken by other skimmers who have cameramen with them, but i rarely see the same guys twice.

cameramen as in their buddies who aren't skimming that day.  the occasional girlfriend. 

but occasionally, yes professional photographers wander the beach here.  if they come across something going on like skimboarding they'll shoot it.

Unrelated note: does anyone know how asylum seeker processing works in Canada? In Australia the average is about 100 or so days shy of a year and in Canada I believe it's short of a dozen days to process. Am interested to see how this works so I'll have a bit more ammo next time I debate the subject, which tends to bring out the inner-xenophobe in a lot of people down under, unfortunately.

Asylum, as in, when someone rocks up seeking asylum, the time it takes for the appropriate authority to take a look and say 'come in' or 'get the **** out'. In Australia, people spend the majority of that time in detention centres, which quite literally send people crazy.

i learned how to play sister ****er part 2 on my guitar. i feel so 1337.
to be fair eyehategod plays simple ****. a few basic sabbath riffs just a lot slower. too many bands forget the blues component of metal, this one on the other hand stuffs it up your ass and rotates it.

I'm feeling a bit disillusioned. This is the first time in a long time that passing the holidays quietly at home, coding And gaming hasn't appealed to me. I'm going to make a point of going out and seeing my friends more before uni goes back. I think I need it.
