The fight scenes are fantastic. One thing that initially threw me off was the lack of "meaty" punching sounds, but it's better that way.

I did not know there was a Daredevil series.  But then again I haven't watched TV in about a year I think.  I should probably stop paying for cable (though I have quite a backlog of recorded things).

Leave approved for Carolina Rebellion.  Premier rock festival of the summer this year.  I'm probably going to it alone again, because apparently I have no real friends anymore, but whatever it's the first bit of life outside of work I'm going to have in a LONG goddamn time.

Oh yeah Fisk is amazing. So well acted. His.. .. pauses. Damn. And the fight scenes, yes. That hallway scene where he has to get the boy from the russians. Pure cinematic orgasm. To contrast with it, I'm appalled at Supergirl's speed of descent towards ridiculousness and bad writing. That Myriad episode was even worse than Smallville's average. And that's saying something.

Daredevil is a Netflix original.  It's not on cable.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L - Asante Sana Squash Banana.
I haz the sads tonight.  :(

I was defeating it with a mix of actually getting out and doing hobby things for a while and just plain anger at my job.  Now the job has taken away all my time to do the other things and I'm fresh out of anger (and ****s) for the job.  So now I just feel defeated and previous mild depression is creeping back.

Although maybe now I'll be motivated to take another stab at the real root of the problem.  And follow through this time.

After 7 years of switching between browsers, I'm back where I started - Firefox. Lack of support for animated PNGs on WebKit was the last straw.

In about 2-3 weeks, I'll probably be saying goodbye to Android too when I change my handphone.

Funny, I was just thinking about moving back off of firefox to Pale Moon, or maybe even IE.  Both of these have been more reliable lately with showing the page right, and adblock for IE is finally becoming mostly effective.

I've been on the Pale Moon train for a few years ever since Firefox launched their Australis bull**** (and their plummeting market share since then speaks for how well that went).  I love it to pieces other than its propensity to hard-crash when loading certain pages, but I put the blame squarely on Flash for those.

My car is dead.

2001 Jetta, it just up and quit on the way home yesterday. Bad sensor so the engine just declared "**** it I quit". The repair cost is worth more than the price of the car according to insurance, not that I necessarily believe that since they think the car's still worth about $4k.

Time to look for a new car, I guess. At least this one won't have a TAPE DECK.

Before the United States Court For The Central District of California at this time: Can you copyright a language you have created, meaning that any work produced in that language is automatically subject to your copyright?

A question that could only, of course, become relevant due to Hamlet in the original Klingon.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L - Asante Sana Squash Banana.
Day 1 of Carolina Rebellion was a smashing good time.  Got to see my first favorite band from way back in 99 Collective Soul for the first time.  To be honest they've been declining for quite some time and putting out some crappy pop/easy listening music, but I guess they decided if they were going to play at a hard rock/metal festival they were going to prove they could still do it and actually rocked out REAL hard.  Enjoyed just about every minute of it, except the headliners the Scorpions were kinda boring until they got to their massive hits that I actually knew at the end.  And I missed all but the last song of Sick Puppies due to traffic and lines.

Tomorrow is another full day of great bands.  Highlights are Sevendust and Shinedown (as long as they stay away from their latest album as much as possible).  Sunday is meh as far as total lineup goes, but closes out BIG with Rob Zombie and Disturbed.  Depending on how I feel after tomorrow, I may skip the rest and just go in for those two.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L - Asante Sana Squash Banana.
Some nice bruises have faded in.  My feet and calves are shredded, and my neck hurts from the crowd surfers I had to use my head to lift (because my arms were full with another one).

Worth it.  Anyone who has the chance to see Disturbed live needs to do it.
