Not really a choice. Unless I cheat, level-grinding is the only way (and I hate cheating... it really cheapens the victory, and you feel no sense of accomplishment).

i'm off to work in 20 mins...

the company at which i work is the second biggest in croatia as far as the number of users of cable, net and phone.

the bad part? they dont have many people who know hot to actually explain someone how to set up network connections properly.

there are 3 of us who are tech savvy. we have over 210 calls to make to get people to fix their stuff.... bleah...coffee time

I had to re-seat my laptop's RAM because I was getting BSODs when I ran memory-intensive operations.

Infodump:

I first started getting them while playing GalCiv2 (with Firefox usually with the background). My first hypothesis was either high operating temperature (since the air coming out the vent) or virtual memory problems (I got that from the event viewer). Then I got a BSOD while watching a large video I recorded from DOSBox, and the icing on the cake was when I tried FreeSpace today with Firefox in the background. I decided to use the Memory Diagnostics utility as suggested by the BSOD, and that said I had a hardware problem. So I decided to re-seat my RAM (read: taking it out and putting it back in again), and a re-run of the MD reported no problems. Now I'll try FreeSpace again and hope it's all right.
