Been playing Cave Story. Pretty fun. Especially loving the machine gun. At level 3, the bullets propel you upward if you fire downward, meaning you can use the gun as a makeshift jetpack!

Oddly, the actual jetpack isn't anywhere near as effective.

So, I don't care that getting the machine gun means I miss out on the best weapon in the game. I can fly with bullets!

I caught Azelf this morning. On the final attempt I used six Ultra Balls. Last night it almost knocked out all my party and I just wasted my Ultra Balls, but I turned it off before I completely got screwed over.

Also bought a compass for our QCS practice tomorrow.

Actually, he did smoke at school. And got caught. And when they searched him, they found lighters and small amounts of weed. And then he swore at the admins.

I'm back at school. Most of my English class has elected to do the next paper together. As a group. I told the one other person not involved that there's actually a word for that: "cluster****."

I'm not involved because I don't have to do this paper either.

Did the practice for the Writing task for QCS. Basically we had to write about 600 words (in any genre as long as it's connected prose) about a certain concept (in this case: essence) with some stimulus. Mine was a bit odd - I responded to "Bizarreness is the essence of the exotic" - it's probably the only essay that combines Lamborghinis, Strange and Dark Matter, people with three legs, and those big rolling spheres they have in New Zealand.

I've been back at school for two days now. It doesn't seem different from last year at all. Up until now I used to feel really 'weird' during the first few weeks of school, as if there was no order anymore, even though there really is more order to a school day than sitting at home in my boxers, going on hlp, leaving the computer on and going to the city with my 'krue' in a pair of baggy jeans and a singlet, coming home and fs2-ing, before hitting new replies and repeating the cycle.
