Melissa left today, oodles of people are leaving tomorrow, and I'm leaving on Friday (with the rest of the people). :o Well, I guess my first year is just about over. Tomorrow are my final finals.

My little brother hid his pack of cigarettes in the car I use for school and stuff last night. I stole them, just to be an ass. Mum will kill him if she finds out.

How do you get in 3 accidents before the age of 18?

They are all very minor parking lot accidents.

Sharpies.

accident 1: scraped a bunch of paint off a little red convertible owned by the leader of the county group which was hosting the prom I was at (also, I was a student leader of the group at the time)... I was driving illegally, and she and a cop both saw me do it. Nobody wrote down my driver's license number.

accident 2: rear-ended an asian woman's van, left some dents, she didn't get my license number, and didn't even report it.

accident 3: backed up into a little red car driven by a large (angry) black man. no damage, but he yelled at me, and then didn't ask for any of my info.

I live such the charmed life.

In other news...... I can now walk up a flight of stairs without being totally winded afterward! Yay, iron pills!

When have I ever lasted for three minutes on top? My record's probably more like 82 seconds.

Playing X-COM again. The aliens currently have my balls in a vise.

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.

Funny, I just beat Aftermath.

I ended up naming the vaguely middle-eastern/indian/something guy after our Kara.

Kara saved the world along with Jack Folstam. All praise Karajorma!

Re: Whatever happens in your life III: The Search for Spock
I've been having some problems with my WD external hard drive (one that gets power through the USB cord) so I bought a new 1.8m cable for $19.95. Unfortunately, the drive wouldn't work at all with it, due to the fact of it being 1.8m long (length = electric resistance). :ick: Fortunately it's working fine at the moment, and I've just done a backup in case it karks it.

I've heard that several people don't like WD due to quick hard-drive failures.

I've also heard that external WDs are in fact a bit unreliable. Mostly because of the front panel and cooling, or something like that. On the other hand, internals should be quite good.

Five guys tried to start a fight with me on the way back from my haircut. It helps having friends in high places.
