Oh, I'm quite alright I'd say. Seeing a grown man and woman bawling their eyes out was a completely different experience though. My heart goes out to his little brother, by the time he found him, he'd slipped out of the noose he'd constructed using an electrical extension cord tied to a tree branch and was lying face down in the dirt. He's not going to forget that anytime soon...

Yeah, they had to sedate his mum the night it happened. As his for his little brother, he's been away at a close cousin's (home isn't really a good place, it's a Sri Lankan tradition for everyone to go to the house of the person who died ASAP, so space is in short supply). Last I heard, he was in no state to come home.

Ohh, well close-ish, we were closer when we were younger.

I need advice....I am applying for the NYCSEF, a City Science Fair held annually. My project included looking into patients charts for their medical history and whatnot (Don't worry, I was under supervision from a physician).

I didn't actually conduct an experiment on them, just utilized their information for my paper. Is an IRB approval needed?

Scratched my hair. I reckon plastic modellers will die younger because we inhale large amounts of paint/cement/thinner fumes. Not to mention the plastic fumes when we apply heat  to simulate burn marks.

The Aeshma was in FS1 Concept Art !!!!!
I discovered the SF Aeshma was in FS1 concept art. Now I'm ashamed of myself for bashing it and calling it the stereotypical Shivan fighter.

You ever try one of these?

I think its the greatest thing ever and it minimizes the amount of glue you use so less fumes :D

That looks damn interesting. Wonder where can I find that kind of stuff in Singapore ... at present, my cement comes with a brush attached to the handle, so I use that to drip it down the partially sealed seams before pressing it shut to let the excess overflow and form over the seams.

Its a bit hard to do with the brush, so I've been thinking about using a syringe or something ... but if I can find something like that it'd definitely be much easier.

Gawd this takes me back a few years, sitting in my room filling it with fumes, building a 1:350 scale model of the Japanese Battleship Yamato.
Happy days :)

Hey Nuke, you reading this? Just found out today from FED2k that it seems Peter Berg isn't going ahead with the Dune "remake." Well, I'm not really surprised.

Thinking about this has rekindled my interest in getting my mitts on the out of print Dune Encyclopedia, but alas I can't see that ever getting back into print. :(
