I did a clean install and upgraded from Windows XP 32bit to Windows 7 64!  I now have a full 4gigs instead of 3.5 and my computer is running like a dream.  I installed Fallout 3 and on Ultra settings it ran smoothly.  Not only that but when I switched back to my other programs my computer was only using %40 of my RAM! When the computer was idle it ran at %27-29 and that's without any Firewall or Anti-Virus software up and running.

I got back in touch with my old squadron sergeant major yesterday. He's now moved up in the ranks and a Territorial, i'm meeting up with him tonight at his army centre for a cup of tea and to discuss re-joining as a territorial holding all prior rank and qualifications.
I can handle that I think.

So I got this book, Anthony P. Tully's Battle of Surigao Straight, 'cuz I read his work on combinedfleet.com and it was good. Figured I'd learn stuff from it or at least enjoy the writing style.

I'm only 13 pages into the Prologue and I've already learned more about Japanese circumstances and plans prior to Leyte Gulf then all my previous readings on the subject put together.

This is a damn good book. If you have any interest in the subject at all, go purchase it right the hell now.
