i got my new 24.6 inch monitor, its huge. also got a new dvd burner and flash reader.

Just two open-note essays though, so it should be good, even with minimal studying I've already done.

Afterwards I intend to watch those two episodes of Monster that got recorded last night.

studying is overrated.
I got 83 on a physics midterm, class average: 54.
my hours 'studying' less than 1
average: a bit more than 1.
I think the key is to UNDERSTAND, not 'know' the material, and once understood, further dedicated studying time is pointless.

Oh, believe me, I know. "Minimal studying" in my case means "going to class and taking notes". I do generally review the finer details of stuff before a test, though, not that this generally takes any longer than, say, thirty minutes.

Yeah, well, I missed almost two weeks of class time. I printed out the powerpoint lecture and I'm going over it, but I don't have high hopes.

For the last ten days, we've had a sub for four, every single one of which we were starting a new section of said chapter.

Said substitute is trying to teach a Calculus class to seniors in high school the same way his college professor taught him... thirty years ago.  From a different chapter.

Said substitute is greatly confusing.
