Changing the oil on my lawnmower...spilled all the bad oil on the garage floor   Had to clean it up, getting dirt and oil all over my hands.  Proceeded to change the oil...200ml less.  Went to the store...1st store didn't have the right oil, 2nd was closed.  3rd was farther, but got the oil.  Came back, changed the oil...too late to mow the grass

Just finished freaking out since I lost my flash drive that had all my essays for my English finals.

I'm screwed. I'm also failing Earth Science at the moment since I haven't done any labs this quarter. I'm 40 mins short of 1200, which means I'm not eligible for regents. I can still take the local final and pass the class so I don't have to retake it, but it won't count for my diploma.

Jesus dude, maybe you should do your work and take better care of your ****. Also, make local backups of files.

In other news: I just watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Interesting stuff...

yeah man, this might sound rather harsh, but it sounds like you've had it coming.  i lost some minor stuff electronically as well, and then i started storing important files in no less than 3 locations.  two computers and a flash drive.

Indeed. My important thingies are stored on (at least) two computers and an external HDD. Occasionally I also make backup DVDs. Really important stuff also ends up on my school web space and possibly on the magazine subscription webspace. Really, really important documents may also end up on one or more of my emails.

I realised it was gone when i went to back it up.

I had another eventful day. I found out my fridge is actually at too warm a temperature, which is why everything I put in there goes off before the expiry date. This major life-changing revelation has forced me to alter my lifestyle.

I also got involved in a fight resulting from a car accident.

I lost the key to my truck at Wal-Mart at midnight so I had to take a cab back home.  The next day I had to drive the limo everywhere, including to the dealership to get a new key cut.  On the way back one of my back tires asploded, forcing me to wait for an hour for a tow.  When I got to the shop, I checked the other tires and it looked like they were on the verge of asplosion as well.  So I got them all changed.

130 for the tow.  480 for all new tires.

But then I went to Olive Garden and had some of the best wine ever.

Just got back from a party, and ****, do I feel like ****. Two of my mates were absolutely ****ed up after drinking around about 1.33 litres of cask wine each (one 4L bag to three of them), so most of my night was spent tending to the two, making sure they weren't choking on their own vomit, conscious at least half the time and weren't looking like a general ****fight. Well, until an ambulance covered one of them and the other was taken home.
