it ceases to be fun when i am continually kicked from games for having some ****ing decency.  or for "hacking", but at least that has a reason behind it.  i just got the boot for preventing someone from cheating.  wtf?

Meh, I play games where the "host" doesn't have any control of kicking or booting, so I don't have that problem.

I do get accused fairly frequently of having a modded controller on MW2.  Apparently people thing you're hacking if you can fire a FAL faster than they can fire their SCAR.

in some rooms they don't.  it's a votekicking system.  the immaturity level is so high in this game a votekick can be successful if someone screams "THAT NOOB IS HAXING!!!!1".  the game is Combat Arms if anyone knows it.  Players can buy an "elite moderator" item that gives them kicking power, and i don't think i have to describe what goes on in there.  (this is a "free" game by the way)

Same here. Exception when it comes to FS2 multi, though. I spent the second half of last night playing an excellent multiplayer session with Shade, QD, captain-custard, AreaofDestructionAndrewofDoom, someone from the FreeSpace XFire community (I think) called NekroJakus and someone called CloneWolf. I just found out why the software segfaulted with certain images. The get_pixel function created by another team member, a function that, among other things, takes the x and y coordinates of the pixel as parameters... I've been feeding x and y in the wrong places to the function.

Someone will get hanged for this! Probably me.)
