Well, I'm back from five days interstate. Had a lot of fun. Got to bathe in hot springs, send an SOS message in a bottle (as a joke), enjoyed a board game for the first time, and got to fly a helicopter.

And to top it all off I've been accepted into project teams. What a fine day to be me.

I just concluded an epic one hour showdown with the AI in SupCom 2. No idea how I survived in that tiny corner of mine, but I did, and held them off long enough for my arty and battlecruisers to bomb the Cybran into dust and for my experimentals to roll over the Aeon.

Strangely enough, its only when I play battles when I'm fighting for my life that I have the most fun. I wonder if that makes me a sadist.

One of my HDDs died. The good thing, it wasn't C:, the bad thing, all my Music, Videos, family photos and all the FSO and Oblivion related 3D Wips are gone, all the Fringespace stuff, the ISS, ****in everything that wasn't copied to the "to convert" folder.

Upside being that I'm being paid $120-$160 for my work tomorrow, which is mostly dogsbodying.

I haven't bothered with skirmish since I haven't managed to beat the second Aeon mission. I can't figure it out, they never give you a chance to build up a base, since you can't go anywhere without getting attacked by turrets and decimating the small force you start with. And the turrets defend the only resource points.
