Watched Ong Bak: The Beginning.

Not particularly impressed.

Now going to start a Fists of the North Star marathon for the hell of it

I've heard that in Fist of the North Star people have their heads blown up from their being punched. I've never watched it, but exploding heads sounds great.

The cartoon is dated, and the dubbing leaves some to be desired (it is, after all, one of the huge number of titles that hit the West when a lot of people still couldn't tell the difference between Manga and Anime) but it's a nice bit of nostalgia. Having already watched Akira and Ghost in the Shell in the last couple of days I felt like a bit more Japanese animation

Just avoid the live action movie like the plague, it is, without doubt, one of the worst movies ever made.

Am now remembering how bloody hilarious Fists of the North Star was. It was one of the first shows to annouce combat strikes as they were made

"The NorthStar Fist of Remaining Regrets!" literally had me spraying coffee.
