Blood drive I was signed up for today was cancelled due to needing more people in Joplin.

Would have been nice if there'd been a notice to that effect beyond a sign posted on the door to the place it was being held. I had to drive through quite the downpour to get there.

He died in a car accident caused by a heart-attack (May 20th). Lost control over his car and rammed a tree. His wife survived with light injuries. Both had seatbelts attached.

Caught a tv ad for pre-ordering the new red faction game. . . . Not that bothered. The end comments however, which equated to "pre order and get exclusive SAINTS ROW 3 ****" caused me to fall off my feet.

SAINTS ROW 3 squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- ad infinitum.

Went to Kendo tonight, then we headed over to IMAX to see Pirates. I personally thought it was quite a bit better than the last two films and Geoffrey Rush is pretty awesome.

They diverted all the air traffic from DFW to Austin because of one a few counties over. Including the plane my Girlfreind's stepmother was on. I'm totally okay with this.

Apparently a Texas Rangers baseball game had all the fans evacuated to the tunnels under the stadium because of a tornado warning. Crazy stuff.

I went out today to buy a new pair of spectacles and do an eye test, as well as develop some photographs. My feet felt like lead all day.

Gotta end it with me and the ladyfriend, due to personal problems on her end along with some slightly ****ed up family problems.

's been a good run with her, though, probably the happiest relationship I've been in so far (up until this point).

Sorry mate, it's a shame when good things end badly, it's worse when they end well. At least it tends to mess with my head more when there are too many loose ends. I prefer a clean clean break. I don't just burn bridges, scorched earth policy comes into effect. Block all mutuals, delete all numbers, bar telephone numbers and in one extreme case changed my own number. God some women can't let go.

Also (and totally unrelated), if anybody ever tries to call Knoxville a city ever again, I'm going to point out that for the last week, it's been a rooster, not my alarm clock, waking me up.
