Six month anniversary with my girlfriend today. Received 'The Spitfre Pocket Manual' and 'Air Force', in addition to the most tear-jerking, emotional three page letter on the face of the Earth (bonus points for making the Dilmah cry in a coffee shop :P ). She is amazing. Especially since the Spitfire manual has period literature on RAF fighter tactics and formations, as well as chief test pilot's notes. :D

Oh man that's awesome. Happy for you. At the moment I've got my eye on someone. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, so I figured I'd wait a while to give her time and space to recover... only now I hear she and her ex are considering getting back together.

Cheers. :) Oh yeah, you're a top bloke for giving her space...I've known a few guys who've charged in guns blazing in similar situations and to continue the analogy, have left with empty magazines and not a lot else. But dammit. :( That sucks, have you managed to get talking to her fairly frequently?

Yeah, we see each other at least once a week, usually twice (we're part of the same youth group), and we've texted and emailed a little on top of that. We're definitely fairly good friends and that friendship is growing... I just dunno if it'll go anywhere else. At the moment there's not much I can do especially if she and her ex decide to get back together. We'll see what happens.

Allergies kill me day in and day out, thank goodness for modern medication.

With nothing to do today, I will go out to the Farmers Market, and see if theres anything interesting.

Also, a "Lucky Bamboo" plant I got for my Birthday is now practically dead as one of my sisters cats ate the majority of it...

My birthday this year consisted of getting up to take a final at 7:30 am, and then being kicked out of my dorm room for the summer to live with the family I only nominally get along with.  There was no cake, all my friends were gone, I got no presents.

There can be worse birthdays.

Let's see, went riding in the morning, did some cantering, jumps and stuff, it was good.  That was followed by grocery shopping and a 5K run.  Now I just wrapped up watching 13 Assassins, it was **** awesome.

As it is, it looks like I'll be doing the first day of the academic year on my birthday next year.  :(

Opposite for me, last day of classes for the year is on my birthday. Not as nice as it sounds though, you spend the day finishing projects up and studying for exams.
