As mixed as my feelings are about the song, taking five minutes to learn the dance to Gangnam Style properly paid off immensely at tonight's party.

Gotta say, not keen at all for Halo 4. Battutaposts do a pretty good job of describing why.

Assume someone will mention in passing how it goes. Also just saw Argo and thought that **** was amazing. GO SEE IT!

No, I'm genuinely really excited, it has a cool visual aesthetic and it looks like they're tackling the most interesting parts of their universe.

Oh really? I haven't been keeping up. I found the universe really, ridiculously interesting when I was in Junior High but after H3 got played to death in Middle School LANs, Reach was the nail in the coffin of my interest in Halo. Regardless of whatever debate we may have had over it, I grew to really despise Reach and the fact I paid full-price for the damn thing.

Damn, my faith in video games living up to their expectations is dwindling. :(

Forward Unto Dawn (the web mini-series) is actually pretty good, too.  It's got excellent production values, and it doesn't hurt that it's, you know, a Halo "movie".

TF2 Halloween update is dropping today (so tomorrow by Valve Time).  I know what I'm doing for the next two weeks.

Or possibly just part of the next two weeks, because a full-fledged hurricane is probably going to be making landfall within 75 miles.  Whee!

Got a visit from my congresswoman today for her re-election campaign.  As in, she was actually going door to door, personally.  Impressive voter outreach in this day and age.

Despite being Republican, she'll probably get my vote.
