Nah, It was a massive hyperbole. I simply forgot that I had two eggs cooking, so suddenly the house was all smokey and stuff. When I came down to see what was happening, I saw that all the water and 1 and a half egg had been evaporized. A few minutes after I open the windows and doors to get rid of the smoke, the smoke alarm (Which is in the room in which the cooking took place) goes off...

And my roommate sleeps trough it all.

Feedback? Does anyone else do any DSLR stuff? We could start a thread somewhere i reckon if enough of us do..

Was that cropped out/size reduced? Seems a little small for a DSLR camera
Also, what camera and lens' you got? If you're going to get serious about taking 'artsy' type photographs, you may want to look into some other-than-default lens for some variety in your shots

The photo itself though is nicely lit, though the controller could use some offset from centre. Another thing you could try is getting the focus of the camera on a specific part of the controller making other parts blur out a little more intensely

Course, that's what comes to mind when I think the more artistic photography of a specific subject

I'm popping a Sony a390, got an 18-55 f5.6 and a SAL70300 Sooooooo want to get myself a nice prime with a 1.4 stop.

Edit- yes it's a resized shot. The original is not to hand. The image was a RAW composite at about 8mb.

I enjoyed it, but now I feel like the years I pined for it just were not worth it. I thought that the Rebuild series would answer questions, but they just throw more esoteric **** at the veiwers by the giant-flying-carrier load.

Damn it all! And it was shaping up to NOT confuse 101 different flavours of "What" and "The Frak" out of me.

To hell with this, I'm going outside while the weather is nice.

I just got brand new copies of Freespace 2 all the way from flapping China yesterday... I then went to play simcity4 today and found the original-what-i-thought-lost-forever FS2 disks underneath the two cd's.... I now own 3 copies of FS2, one set in the original box still wrapped (the one that came with the keyboard map and all that other stuff) an opened set (the one i actually played) and a Chinese set (replacements) ... i think i have a twitch now..
