I never found 3-finger swipe any more convieniant than alt-tab or any more flashy than windows-tab.

i am displeased with firefox's design change

It was so tiny...I hardly even noticed until now.

Sure that button at the top left is moved, but the alt key still has the exact same function, which can do 99% of what you need to do in Firefox anyway.

Reported it immeaditily to site's owners. Wonder if I should do more.

Ugh. I'm not really sure if there's anything else one could do, unless there was some hint given as to where the video was from.  Maybe contacting the FBI (or your equivalent federal law enforcement agency) would be your best bet; at least in the US, I think they're the ones who'd have jurisdiction on that.

Starting to fear that the games industry is not where I want to actually end up, as it pretty much eschews the concept of work-life balance if the stories are to be believed, and that is simply not a life I want. Going to do what research I can to either confirm or deny this.

honest piece of advice here:  don't let that be the only thing to stop you.  plenty of other jobs do the same thing.  i live at the beach and haven't been to visit it in about a year and a half.  except for my brief polar plunge skim session on new year's.
