i really hate getting dragged into "you ****ing guys" meetings for ****ups i had no part in. and it always happens RIGHT after feeling accomplished for pulling off major events smoothly.

Now that I've graduated and have five months of savings scraped up I've been putting together a new computer. I'm mostly done:

Motherboard: MSI X99S SLI Plus
CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K @ 3.30 ghz (I've never been much into OCing but I think I'll try to get it up to 4ghz)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 4x4gb DDR4@2666mhz
SSD: 256gb Samsung 850 Pro Series
Case: HAF X

I'm still using my GTX 560 Ti at the moment but I'll be getting a GTX 980 once the good models stop being sold out. My old PSU is fine for now at 750W, but on my list after the new graphics card I'll probably be getting some additional HDDs. I've got a 300gb HDD in my tower and another 1.5 TB in NAS and I've been thrashing around at about 90% capacity for the past year or so. My old SSD was only 60gb so my new one will help a bit but I'm probably just going to fill it up with games.

I gotta say, it's nice having a case that not only isn't all dented and broken but actually fits the side panels on with my hardware in it.

My depression periods seem to follow shortly after peroids of me doing lots of stuff that makes me happy and tired. I geuss my defense mechanisms drop at such a moment causing me to become very vurnrable to sudden mood swings. Remind me to explain this to my psychologist next week 0_o.

Building a new computer myself and broke. Now, just for the stupid case to arrive (why the hell didn't I put that on Amazon Prime earlier?)

Build: Intel i7 4790k, MSI Z97M MATX Gaming Mobo, x2 G.Skill Ripjaw 4gb sticks, Coarsair CX600 PSU. Other parts are from my current rig (and I'm not skimping on the processor this time around).

And why the hell am I going for a MicroATX build? I'm an idiot that's why. Going with a half-decent budget case from Rosewill and will migrate to something beefier when I have more funds in a month or two.

Fun things: Starting to get myself untangled from the family screwjob. Not fun, but necessary. For once my brother and I shopped together without trying to club one another over brussel sprouts. Then there's building a graduation portfolio, going slow as hell and had a bad conflagration in a review session with fellow students . Had a fun time with a student accusing me of being a sexist ass-hole for some Pinup work, only to have her shut up when I showed her penis studies and nude men strutting their nuts for all to see.

These guys aren't Fabbio, just average Joes. It's amazing when people are flabbergasted by bitter reality.

waiting for proverbial paint to dry as my computer blows a gasket trying to do an AO bake to a 4096^2 texture slowing things down to the point im having to resort to the laptop to post this

I actually had to buy a better system for rendering, current i5 can run games great, but when it comes to video editing, baking stuff and digital painting, it begins to grind to a halt and wail.
