Celebrated Valentines Day with Xun. We went to two malls and spent a grand total of ~8 hours together. After that we went to hang out with some friends of hers and her roommate, and then hung out with some more mutual friends for 3 more hours. The tastiest part of the day was going to a Japanese-Thai restaurant and having an early dinner there.

I went to the Game On exhibition in Brisbane today with my mum. Some really cool stuff there.

I had a go at (if I read the description correctly) the first console made (some pong-like thing) with knobs for controls, some bike game (I don't remember all the names), Space Invaders (the Classic one), Missile Command, some odd spaceship thing which the player ship looked like USS Enterprise, Halo 3 (I got owned badly), Super Smash Bros. (the Game Cube one, I played that the most), The Hitchhikers Guide text based game (I got flattened by the bulldozer on both tries), Grand Turismo 4 (With a steering wheel and pedals, I so want one of these in my room), Bust-a-Move (I know how to play that one, even though it was on DreamCast), a side-scrolling shooter that was called E-something on the original Playstation, a flying game on the NES, Super Mario Kart on the Nes, Tempest on an Atari (I thought that had pretty good visuals and sound for its age, but that was an assumption), and some homebrew Bolderdash-like game on the Playstation (IIRC). And I've probably forgotten something there too.
