Just a FYI to everyone still *****ing about forum colors, as if it wasn't clearly enough stated right in the first post in this topic that the HLP theme will make a return when it is done.

As a proof that Sandwich has been working hard on it ever since the sudden forum upgrade, I present you a screenshot to quiet you down. There's still a lot to be done before the theme is done, but it is getting there. And no, you're not allowed to ***** on unfinished theme.

I was wondering if we could get the home page used until 2005/2006 back. It was very good looking and full of content. Is the Administrationship taking that in consideration?

No. That homepage was basically unmaintainable because it was hand-made by Styxx and only he knew it well enough to do any serious coding on it. Its content was never kept up to date in the first place, so almost all information was outdated. And because only Styxx knew inner workings of the mainpage, there was nobody to handle technical and security issues.

That said, there has been a new mainpage in development for almost two years now. If it ever gets finished, its success story entirely depends on the community effort to keep its content up-to-date.

The one thing I don't get is why so many people seem to complain about this current theme when they know that the old theme will come back. It's almost the same as haggling an entire campaign project to speed things up and release something, when the only thing it does is the exact reverse.

If the poster intentionally picks a font colour that is close to the background colour, I will assume he/she hopes the post goes unnoticed. I'm not gonna start taking the extra time to select/paint/highlight posts so that I could read them.
