The Harpy looks good, albeit a little dark in the ship viewer. The Hydra takes a while to get used to; I originally wanted to comment on it being a bit too organic-looking with the bump mapping, but now I think it's okay.

What does the beam effect in the mediavps look like currently?

First is recolor or Shivan beamglow from Mediavps, second is Akrotiri main cannon from ASW 3.6.12 - both are the most awesome blue beamglows ever created [I don't like simple beamglows like BP one]. 2 is better, I'm also using it in my mods as beamglow.

The second effect has better conformity between the center of the beam and the origin, with the teal effect blending in together; not present in the first effect. However they both lack conformity between the rest of the beam, needing a little more touching up. So far I'm for the second effect.

All you can see in #2 is the beam.. looks kinda bad suppose it might work for those people who don't like seeing ships (IE; play in pitch black lighting)
