I think MatthTheGeek's point was that given the Shivans' prevalence towards asymmetry and chaos, why they do they all have the same absolute bank angle?  They may all be heading towards the same location (Knossos), as Black Wolf indicated, but they could have had different bank angles.  Shivan Hunter's reply was that he was lazy.

No idea. You'd have to ask Droid. I just make ships and scripts for him from time to time.

There's a skybox, but the force field thingy mabobber is actually part of the Vampire ship. Why? Beams have no collision groups, but since ships cannot hit themselves with their own weapons it's our only workaround that.

It's not hard to go between styles, but I prefer a simple all red health bar. There's a difference between bland and style choices.
