I never studied Hebrew so my entire Yiddish vocabulary came from pop culture
chutzpah: testicular fortitude
verklempt: emotionally overwhelmed? trippin'? buggin'?
bris: circumcision celebration...ouch
shiksa: physically flawless but shallow blonde
Ok, 1 and 3 of those are in Hebrew; they go as follows:
Chutzpah: Nerve (as in "You got some nerve!"), with a touch (ok, more than just a touch) of rudeness.
Bris/Brit: Celebration? Ehhhh, sort of - I'd classify it as more of a ceremony. "Brit" is Hebrew for "Covenant", BTW.

Mazal Tov.

Literally "Good Luck!", it basically means "Congratulations!"
I see people giving up.

Shall I spill the beans and spoil the fun?
