I'd be more worried about AT fields & provoking the end of the world as we know it when it starts turning red.

Nice to see that the classics haven't been forgotten yet :yes:
Though the re-build movies are certainly a much better (quality-wise) reminder than legacy was for Tron.

No problem! My comment was directed towards Battuta, not you. The reason for rehosting is just that HLP doesn't store post attachments indefinitely, so in about a month your image would have been deleted.

Trying to experiment with the new Physically-based rendering system in FSO. I don't think I'm doing too well...

The first two shots use the unmodified "paint" layer from the source file as the PBR diffuse map. For the next three shots, I modified the base texture, and used it as the mask for the paint layer. I used the result as the PBR diffuse map.






Also, new Jalkehi and Grikath!






EDIT: I've made the metal on the Stiletto more "matte". I think this is a bit better.

I like to break out Spyder's FSO Trailer Mission every now and then. Here's a comparison between current trunk and retail(ish), followed by a fullscreen 60 FPS version of current trunk. I haven't toyed with PBR builds yet, though... I should do that.

Yeah, it looks like there's some particles (soft?) or something that obscures the flak explosion animation in the mediavps.
