Well, let's see... I've liked very different games, so I'm not gonna place these into any other order than in which they come into my mind.

FreeSpace, FreeSpace 2 and FS_Open
Red Baron (from 1991...)
Il-2 Sturmovik series
X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter (of which the Tie Fighter was the best, obviously)
Grand Prix 2
Rome: Total War & Barbarian Invasion
Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 (and most likely Halo 3 too)

...What more? Well that's actually more than ten games, but less then ten genres. I haven't really played that many games that I liked a lot, these ones come to mind as the most memorable.

By the way, I just got an idea. When Spore comes out here and gets a little cheaper, I'm so totally going to try and engineer Flood and Shivans into it and see who would win... Then I release them into multiplater servers. :mad2: ;7

1: FreeSpace 2 (1999)
2: Deus Ex (2000)
3: Lemmings (1992)
4: Unreal Tournament (1999)
5: Descent 3 (1999)
6: Command & Conquer (1995)
7: Infotron (1993)
8: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (2005)
9: Mission Critical (1995)
10: Fate of Atlantis (1994)

I have tried to avoid multiple games in the same series (FS1, etc.) for variety. There is usually one among them that stands out anyway.

Lets see... It's not realy a list where 1 is better than anything else, but more of the 10 games I continuosly play, no matter how many years have passed.

1 ) Civilization -> from the first one up to version IV. I lost count of how many hours i've spent moving settlers, planes, ships and armys around.
Proud victim of the "Just One More Turn Syndrome".
2 ) SimCity -> again, every game in the series.
3 ) X-Wing, Tie Fighter, XvT and X-Wing Alliance. Well :D These will forever have a special place in my heart. Also because XvT was the first game I ever played online.
4 ) Flight Simulator  -> I always wanted to become a real pilot, but for "medical" reasons, I can't. So PC simulations are better than nothing. Starting from FS 4.0 up to lastest installment.
5 ) Deus Ex -> absolutely the BEST scifi fps/rpg ever. And for me beeing a fanatic of post-apocaliptic-bladerunnerish settings, it's easy to understand why :D
6 ) Homeworld 1 -> I had tears the first time a burning Kharak apperared on the screen.
7 ) Star Control 2 -> Brilliant game, from the fog of time, when computer games where something "special" and personal.
8 ) FreeSpace (and SCP) -> a bit low in the list but still present on my hard-disk.
9 ) Super Mario Bros. 3. There's a long rivalry between me and my sister: I still haven't beaten her after more than 17 years. So it deserves a place here.
10) Hearts of Iron 2. I like all the Paradox games in general, but HoI 2 is still the one I fire up the most.

I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address occurred during the same week.  This is an ironic juxtaposition of events--one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.

As far as I know, it was some kind of cut back limited edition of FS2, and it was exclusively (?) in bundle distribution with some products. Dunno anything else about it, though...
