My favourite SF TV Shows:
1. Enterprise (even though I've only seen the premier - I'm in Australia)
2. StarGate SG-1 (has been number one since it started, before Enterprise came around)
3. ST: Voyager
4. ST: TNG
5. Farscape
6. ST: DS9 (only includes season 6, 7)
One of my favourite shows is the british production called Hornblower. It's about a young man called Herachio (I can't spell that) Hornblower in the eighteenth century. You see as the young man flies up the ranks (similar to a likable Wesly Crusher) onboard the the frigate Indefatigable (which means not-fatigue-able). The producers and writers did an excellent job with the characters and the stories and I was always impressed.
This has nothing to do with Science Fiction, this is history you say? Well, the reason why I mentioned this is that it always reminds me of Star Trek, with the way the characters are portrayed working as a team, etc and sorta exploring the unknown. To me, Hornblower seems more SF than history.
They only made about 10-20 episodes, but has anyone seen this? (To Setekh - it was on the ABC at prime-time last year.)
