This is what I do at home playing "what if". I would like to make a real campaign out it this if people say they like the idea. This is just what I was thinking about putting together and before making it available would ask the appropriate people for permission.

Description: (Alternate universe storyline)
The SDF-3 didn't make it for the final battle against the Invid cause it never came out of hyperspace... Or so it was believed.
Actually it appeared on target near the Jupiter staging point except for one thing... It came out of the fold into the wrong universe! Those familiar with the series know that the engines of the SDF line are, well unreliable sometimes, and the fact that they jury rigged the engines with an unstable fuel source didn't help either. They make contact with the Earth of this new dimension and realizing the threats that could come from "other" spaces the Earth Govs Unite and then sign a treaty with Admiral Lisa hayes of the REF creating the IDA (Inter Dimensional Alliance). Earth's Tech is increased and 2 years later Dr Lang discovers quantom signatures that help locate dimensional boundaries. 5 more years go by and by then Earth has a fleet of their own started based on robotechnology combined with their own flavor. Dr Lang again makes a breakthrough on how to reliably breach a dimensional barrier and then it is decided that the SDF-3 will attempt to find it's way home one dimensional jump at a time. With their departure Earth also starts an expidition of their own to chart other dimensions and see if trade or military alliances can be made with these other worlds.
You are a member of the EDF (Earth Defense Force) who has gotten your dream assignment, as a pilot in the expiditionary battlegroup (Hey even diplomats need protection right?) Your main duty station is the EDF-SC Avenger, one of the Space Carriers in the group.
You have no idea what's waiting for you, but that's ok...
Cause whatever is out there doesn't know anything about you either, right?
This is the start of the campaign and you probably can guess that you end up exposed to the other universes we all know and love...

Also I wanna expand the Galactica mod to flesh it out and recreate the episodes from the show so I need a couple of models made:
Cylon BaseStar, Cylon Tanker, Advanced Cylon Raider
Galactica Shuttle, Rising Star, Standard Frieghter, and various Other rarely mentioned ships of the civillian fleet.
(Don't forget that awesome "Ship of Light" the angels had!)
