I have marching band practice everyday this week for 7 hours. Normally this wouldn't be too bad, but my legs are jelly from playing too much Frisbee. It's pretty hard to stand up and walk around for 7 hours, much less 7 minutes.

Geez, your band is more hardcore than mine ever was. The worst we ever had it was two 3 hour practices every day in the summer.

My 80GB IDE drive is officially dead. I got a good run out of it at least; 6 years or so. Oh well; I had nothing important on it, at least.

My hard-core band practice doesn't start for two weeks.  Then it's 9 days of 7 hour practices, broken only by lunch and Sunday.

I just got this year's AP Scores back.

AP Chemistry:                                        3
AP English Language & Composition :   5
AP U.S. History:                                      5

I was expecting a supreme fail on the chemistry, so that 3 is a welcome score.

That leaves the score card at:

AP Chem: 3
AP US Government & Politics: 3
AP World Geography: 4
AP World History: 5
AP U.S. History: 5
AP English Literature & Composition: 5

And I was just informed that I was one of last year's AP Scholars.  If the College Board sticks to its award guidelines, I also now qualify for AP Scholar with Distinction.  The next highest award is the AP National Scholar.  I'm taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Japanese, AP English Lit & Comp and AP Psych next year to qualify for it.   

Life is jammon.

It's called Boulder High.  It's a public school, but it kicks ass.  We have 27 AP courses available  here, and if that isn't enough, just walk up the hill to the university.

I'm gonna watch the shuttle launch in 80 minutes, providing it isn't cancelled.  Which seems likely, considering there's a thunderstorm going on outside.

Apparently, the rain is only where I'm at, and not at the shuttle pad.  That means that it'll launch, but I won't be able to see it.

I'm learning computer animation and fundamentals using flash. This is the first day working (second day at camp) and I'm enjoying it
The class is being held in Idyllwild, the School of Arts. Up around Banning and Palm Springs (CA USA). It's great!

Idyllwild? I could almost drive there... (The main problem is I don't really want to. It's just not a neat fun happy place like it's billed.)

I played RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and stopped at where I uninstalled it the last time: after reaching Tycoon for the first three scenarios. Clint Bushton proved to be quite an easy VIP to please. I didn't even need to build Empire Express.
