I just got this year's AP Scores back.

AP Chemistry:                                        3
AP English Language & Composition :   5
AP U.S. History:                                      5

I was expecting a supreme fail on the chemistry, so that 3 is a welcome score.

That leaves the score card at:

AP Chem: 3
AP US Government & Politics: 3
AP World Geography: 4
AP World History: 5
AP U.S. History: 5
AP English Literature & Composition: 5

And I was just informed that I was one of last year's AP Scholars.  If the College Board sticks to its award guidelines, I also now qualify for AP Scholar with Distinction.  The next highest award is the AP National Scholar.  I'm taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Japanese, AP English Lit & Comp and AP Psych next year to qualify for it.

It was a catch up celebration, my mate managed to get a day pass from his missus. I think snogged a bit of a trog but i'll need to catch up with my crew to achieve confirmation on that. *head swirls as I sit up to write this on my phone, and from nowhere a taste of sweetcorn appears and The urge to throw up overwhelms. /me legs it to the john.

I bought a wireless router (Netcomm NB504) but I could not for the life of me get my Internet connection recognised. Now I can't even connect to the wireless network.

I JUST got my report card. All Ays except for one B+ in double AP geometry. Did above average on all the state tests, 95.5% on the geometry regents.

It's a tradition among our circle of friends to have "Crappy Movie Night" once a month. It's part DIY Mystery Science Theater, part drinking game for those of us who drink, and part "it's a ****ty movie so we can socialize over it if we like, but it makes a nice excuse".

This time I didn't have to provide the movies, which is a pity since I have the DVD of Manos now...of course, it would be hard to compare to our legendary viewing of Battlefield Earth...

I have marching band practice everyday this week for 7 hours. Normally this wouldn't be too bad, but my legs are jelly from playing too much Frisbee. It's pretty hard to stand up and walk around for 7 hours, much less 7 minutes.
