So I got Ace Combat Zero, because I figured it had good music from what I've seen on youtube and it's probably not terrible.

...I can't stand it. I mean, it's not a bad game, but it's terribly schizo. It's got a setup and feel straight out of WWI in a modern setting and it just doesn't work when you have more than passing familarity with air combat. The time I spent with Falcon 3.0, years ago when it was new, has totally ruined this game for me.

It's still a great game. It plays great, and the story I've seen was good, but it's just so wrong.

I managed to forgive that pretty easily. I enjoyed Battlecry after all. (Then again, a Super VF might actually have 80 missiles straight up.) It's the whole mentality that's straight out of Red Baron that gets to me.

Nah. I just didn't sleep enough last night. Kept falling asleep on the bus and during lesson time this morning.

It's 6 pm at my end now. If I sleep, chances are that I'll sleep all the way into the middle of the night before waking up.
