I got my new (to me) pair of loudspeakers. A pair of Polk Audio Monitor 5 Series 2 speakers in good condition. Got them and saw they were packed OK though still a bit inadequate. Midwoofers are both fine, tweeters both work. So I moved around my desk again--originally I had it one way in the corner, moved it so that the desk faced my bed a few days ago, and now moved it so it's in a roughly 45o angle in the corner, pointing the speakers out into the room. The speakers should be further apart but, well, oh well. I don't have enough speaker cable to have them a distance away from each other and it's not like it matters--I only have half the room and the room's split into two narrow strips. I wish it was different (having two wide strips), so that way I could set them up more properly. But oh well--I can save the neighbors' nerves by staying closer to the speakers. They're very nice--I have a similar pair (same model, earlier revision... Monitor 5B's) back home, but I haven't listened to them very much at all.
Listened to a ****load of music.
Went grocery shopping.
Boiled 2 1/2 pounds of potatoes, drained the water, and then threw them into the fridge.
