I just found out my warrant officer signed me up for boat rowing. Me, who can't swim, who is unable to lift heavy loads, who has a bad back.

Don't feel too bad, I'm supposed to be the equivilant to Tech Support, instead I spend one or two weeks each month setting up tent colonies that can hold 600 people. :doubt:

I met up with a friend of mine earlier today, after not seeing her for over three months. This will probably be the last time I see her for a very long time due to the differences between our class timetables. :blah:

i thought the EXACT SAME THING early September, you should be able to make time on the weekends to see her, or you just never know...

I had surgery today and got to miss school. :D

Ear surgery, to reverse minor hearing lose that would have gotten progressively worse. Probably will have to have it done all over again in 2 or 3 years, though.  :doubt:

I've not been up to too much lately...

'Was working on concept art for... "Terran Chronicles"... or whatever we eventually decide on calling it. That was yesterday; still not done with the current project.

Then, I spent most of today reading James Mahaffey's Atomic Awakening. It's a very pleasant and light read pertaining to physics and chemisty. The narrative format if quite good.  :yes:
