Re: Whatever Happens In Your Life: Forever
After registering on Sectorgame because it's the only way to view a new DEFCON fighter, I get this:

"Your secret anti-bot question was answered wrong -blah blah blah."

:doubt:
Are you ****ing serious?

Out of the question, "Which of these four is a planet?" with the answers being cat, bird, EARTH and some other animal, or it was a table...
I'm not stupid, I ****ing answered Earth, how the **** is that wrong?!

A robot would have answered correctly, that was the test.

Then why wasn't the question phrased as: "Which number do I have in mind?"

Whenever I hear that phrase, I think of 17 first.  No clue why.

Anyway, depression over in possibly the shortest depressed period I can remember.  It lasted a grand total of about six hours.  Here's hoping to the next six weeks being a repeat (mood-wise) of the last.

I'll have a word with Hunter and see if there's a problem with it, I've certainly never heard of anyone else having that problem, although, I should note that, according to our forum, you ARE our newest member...

Have you tried signing into SG since getting that message?

...aaand I just murdered Firefox for being unresponsive. I've also killed the Dump Reporter because it was eating up too much CPU power. Of all the stupid things that Apple can do, it's programming an application that starts to write out a crash report when a program generates the beach ball of doom; it's as though they expect the program to crash or be killed by the user in the same way that Bloomberg expected Steve Jobs to be dead.

Not to mention the fact that DumpRep on Windows XP also had exactly the same problem as far as creating a resource-consuming monster was concerned. Not sure about Windows 7 though, either the system works better, doesn't exist, or I haven't had a crash serious enough to require it yet :)

I think that in NT6, dumprep will not prevent the application from being launched a second time. So if Firefox crashes for whatever reason, it'll continue ticking while your new session is up.

At least that's all your cat brings in. Mine managed to catch a (full-grown) owl once. I think he'd been holding a grudge since his fight with an owl several years back broke his leg. (Or at least, that's what we assume happened: he came home one day after vanishing for three days with a huge gash in his belly and a broken hind leg. We guess an owl grabbed him and dropped him.)

I ate dinner at the cafeteria. The cake wasn't bad, but the lasagna left a lot to be desired (including the bathroom).
