Watched the Olympic torch go through my area today. One of my old friends from school is a torch bearer, but due to being guilt tripped by my Mum into watching some other guy half a mile down the route I didn't get to see me friend. To my credit, I did manage to sprint 90% of the distance all the while dodging through about a thousand people (for a shot period of time my world became a QTE, Shenmue style) on an empty stomach and without water, before keeling over as my vision turned a most intresting array of greys.

There was a handfull that seemed to be drafted into being road wardens, but most of the crap work was done by cadets.

They were also serving tea at the TA centre.

my mom's ~~girlfriend~~ woman she is currently stalking gave us some red salmon. so i sliced it into steaks and threw em on the grill and glazed em in a brown sugar mustard sauce. it was delicious.
