Wish they'd make a FIlm about a Fish trying to fins his kidnapped son, assisted by a mentally challenged blue and yellow female fish.

That'd be awesome......

I saw The Hobbit the other day aswell and thought that it was indeed entertaining enough for me to go and watch the parts 2 and 3 too when they get released to the theaters.

LOTR movies themselves were really well done, except for the end of the third.
Even though it felt almost as dragged in the books the movie version felt like it ended five times before it actually did end.

I wish they'd make movies from The Belgariad and Malloreon.

I always laugh at that sentiment being expressed, because most of the people who do don't realize that there was an entire storyline at the end of ROTK that was omitted from the movie. Plus anyone who'd read the book beforehand knew that there was only one possible point for the movie to end, and it sure as hell wasn't back in Minas Tirith.

Got a bunch of magnetic black sand and tetrahedral crystals of galena(?) too. Cool stuff.

Figured out that when I select two points in Wings3D the difference vector it shows me doesn't have the right signs. Like it just picks an arbitrary order to do the component subtraction or something. Bleh.

Had coffee with the hostess I asked earlier this week today
Went well enough, met up with one of the other servers as well

Proceeded to be late for work as to elongate our talk, so that was good too. Didn't get much **** from Chef, but only because I work hard and have never been late once before.

A good start to hopefully a good friendship

Currently cleaning out my PC's PSU. It seems to be composed of more dust than electrical components.
It was the only component that I never took apart and cleaned when I dismantled my PC the last time, and now I sort of regret my fear of breaking it and being unable to replace it.

Screw cans of compressed air! All you need is a pair of lungs, some spit, paper kitchen towls, a selection of screwdrivers with assorted sized heads and a multitool and you can guarantee your rig dust free and running smooth as a bird.
Also, to hell with avoiding static! I say before doing anything, you need to put on a pair of slippers and build up a nice charge on the living room carpet before opening up the case and getting to business.
