'98 Pontiac Sunfire.

Contrary to legends, the red onez don't go fasta.  :P It's just got recurring problems, and though I love the vehicle, it's a bit of a pain. I can't use the A/C right now without fear of the car figuratively exploding.

I've a '97, which I just had to bolt the sunroof permanently closed on so as to prevent the d##n thing from flying off.

2002 Chevy Metro.  It's so economy it hasn't heard of power doors, power windows, or even power steering.  Oh, and the radio and air conditioning don't work.

And like Thaeris said, da red onez don't go fasta.

[07:57:32] <Caiaphas> inspired by HerraTohtori i built a supermaneuverable plane in ksp
[07:57:43] <Caiaphas> i just killed my pilots with a high-g maneuver
[07:58:19] <Caiaphas> apparently people can't take 20 gees for 5 continuous seconds
[08:00:11] <Caiaphas> the plane however performed admirably, and only crashed because it no longer had any guidance systems

Of course when it's raining I am in the P.O.S (piece of....you get the point).  That's a 91 baretta with manaul doorlocks and windows, no radio, what's a heater? The windows roll down so I have AC after a fashion, and sometimes I need to be Fred Flinstone to get it to move backward, ie open the door, stick my foot out and push.  My lady of course has a new Chrysler Town and Country Limited.

How'd I get stuck with the Baretta?  Something to drive to work when i can't ride.  When I can ride though, I'm just trying to understand why the dog sticks his head out the window.

You can't take the sky from me.  Can't take that from me.

Casualties of War

2002 Honda Civic.  It's at around the 195,000 miles mark, and starting to show some signs of its age.  Its a 5-speed AT, which does have its perks, but as hard as I am on that car, I really ought to have gotten a MT.  MPG's used to be up in the high 30's.  Now it is right around 29 - 30.  But, the frame is in relatively good shape.  The engine itself is fine, just old (mileage-wise).  If it was a newer car, I'd seriously think of putting a turbocharger on it.  On these little rice-rockets, you can actually boost the fuel economy with a turbocharger, though that isn't normally why one does it.

2005 Honda Civic Hybrid.  Used, but it has only 37k miles.  Gets about 45mpg, 50-60 if I'm very careful.  Acceleration isn't spectacular, though I love being able to go 500 miles on a twelve gallon tank. :D

I normally have an '01 Honda Odyssey minivan, but the transmission went bad last month (a widespread problem with these vans) even though it only has 67k miles. :doubt: It is usable but needed to be replaced at some point, so I brought over my dad's '08 Honda Accord as a substitute for now.

The van is good for transporting stuff, and for day-to-day use I don't go out often/far enough for the fuel economy to matter much.

2008 GMC Canyon SLE, pimped with pretty much all available options.
3.7 litre, inline 5 cylinder, 245 hp, automatic, 4x4 with Z71 high-stance suspension package, A/C, power everything, chrome wheels
License Plate: HEATMUP

Photo is a little dated. Since then, I added chrome tubular side steps and chrome performance exhaust tip. Currently I am trying to hunt down a chrome grille but it is difficult because GMC does not make them anymore.

red 99 Ford Expedition, with a rather impressive arrangement of NC State logos.  known as "the tank" amongst some of my friends.  drives nice.  i've actually accidentally drifted it on a sharp freeway on-ramp, that was ****ing scary.

Chrome grille like this?

Nice truck btw. You making good use of that Z71 and 4x4? :)

For what I drive...
2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT, 5.2L V8, 4x4, auto, extended cab, short bed. Complete with off-road light bar and headache rack.  Brush guard is coming soon.  92K on the engine.

1997 Dodge Ram 1500. Currently doesn't run, since I just bought it from a guy who took out the engine and transmission.  For the nice easy price of 2700 I've located replacements for both and I'm rebuilding it.  It's going to be my sister's birthday present this year.

And when I get back, I'm taking some of this tax free deployment money and buying myself a 1969 Deville convertible. :)

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

it wasn't a severe drift, just enough that i could tell it was.  though if i had done something stupid like tried hitting the breaks or letting off the gas, it might have.  it was on the entrance ramp to 440 from Crossroads blvd.  if you've never been on that one, it's even tighter than the western one.
