Go to the entrance of the church dressed like a homeless person and ask for help, then see what they do about it.
If they respond correctly and indeed help you, go to the street and pick up as many homeless people as you can and send them their way, not all at once, just a few today, and repeat tomorrow.

This way they will be doing something good, to counter the something bad that's about to be done.
Flaming them will not help, kicking them out will not help either... I guess they are what you'd call a "resolved people", they choose that belief because of your resistance and they are actually counting on you and everyone else to be against them, don't ask me why is that

You'll find a large number of vets who ride.  See if any of your local riding groups (motorcycle, not ten speed) are going to be there.  I know that a lot of the groups have been acting as a sort of security force and creating a human barricade between the idiots and the families.  I can only think of my mother had something happened to myslef or my brother while we were serving in the military, to think of my mother if people like this were doing this bullsh!t....it angers me.

There's a 50/50 chance they won't actually show up. Many of the times they announce their intent they don't. And then sue you for saying they didn't.
