Hey, a number of cast from the previous movies weren't starring here, but the good few are included. I find the hated Will-Elizabeth concept rather amusing  :lol:.

We've known about this for months, it still looks like a tired cash-in. Trailers were out way back.

I don't know, from what I read about it, it seems they kicked out everything that sucked in the two sequels, kept the good, and the new stuff, cast, characters, and plot inspiration all seem very interesting to me - provided the execution is good. So, I'll naively hope we might get something as good as PotC 1 again :)

Well it surely will be a decent popcorn flick. But what I've seen from the trailers... well so-so.

My problem with 2 and 3 was that they kept on ramping up the scale so it would seem epic, and it looks like the same thing's happening here. PotC is a cash cow, and those rarely make for good sequels. It'll be entertaining enough in the theater but not "good" per se.
