Blender edgesplit suckitude in POF format

When I apply an edgesplit modifier to all my objects it looks fine in Blender. Upon export to POF I end up with this. Anyone experience this before? I can put up the .blend file if needed.

So this is  with the modifier applied or with "apply modifiers" selected in the dae export?

"Apply Modifiers" was not selected, it works fine now. I am a n00b. Thank you :D
