OT - What's your worst movie?
And I'm not talking about those movies done on $13,000 with actors who were born and raised in the California Zoo. I'm talking big-time, Hollywood (or equivalent) movies that absolutely sucked.

My entry would have to be Battlefield Earth. It almost hurt to see that one.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

You notice that the crossbow the girl had always had the same amount of bolts in it whenever it showed it, even though she just shot 4 off?

I'd agree with Thunder, even though i havent seen the film. I usually dont watch a movie if its bad or i stop watching it if it turns out to be a bad film. From Dusk till Dawn is a cool film :).

Crossroads definately reeked... but i think there is another, and even worse movie:

Kung Pow - Enter the Fist

it came out like 6 months ago, and it was only in theaters for like 1 week.  that was the first and only movie i ever walked out on

it sucked

Battlefield Earth indeed sucked.

Dunno what I'd put as my entry though - the amount of crappy movies out there is astounding.

I haven't seen many. I'd say Star Wars Episode I. Well, maybe it wasn't all bad, but it's clearly the worst SW movie.

You wanna talk about movies that I walked out on? Tim Burton's "Nightmare before Christmas". I had NO idea that movie was a friggin' musical!

I HATE MUSICALS!

I was totally not in the mood to see a musical that night. I walked out about 25 minutes into the movie and left my friends there. I told them "Sorry, guys, I can't handle this. Come find me in the bookstore when it's over." Then I walked out and didn't look back.

*suppresses a shudder*

Then there was "Attack of the Clones." I WANTED to like this movie, but there were just so many glaring flaws.... But I'll admit, while I was disappointed, I won't say it reeked. That distinction has to go to "Nightmare before Christmas".

That movie was freakin amazing. Its like 7 years old isn't it?

Anyways, worst movie... SW.Ep1 was pretty bad, but anything with plastic britney has got to be horrable.

Million Dollar Hotel was just plain F-up.  It made no sense at all.  And of course, any thing with the selfproclaimed virgin Britney Spears has to be bad.  (except Goldmember, As she was a fembot and they delt with her quickly:D )  But, she can act as much as she wants, so long as she NEVER SINGS AGAIN!

Pearl Harbol is the only movie I have wished to end soon while watching it.

But I must admit the plane scenes were nice... and I laughed my ass off when I saw the oil covered marines walk to the nursery... slo mo
(actually I was the only one who laughed in the theatre at that point :nervous: )

Anyways I think Tim Burton did a great job with Nightmare. I dunno I haven't really watched a really bad film, Rocky 5 maybe?

As for how bad ep.1 was, well just read the signature below...

I've never made any movies. So it is impossible for me to have a worst movie, or a best one, or a movie of any kind, for that matter.
