I have seen the new skins (I guess it's more of a models problem but please correct me if I'm wrong either way) for many of the ships but for some reason many of them don't have the changed looks when I play. This includes the Arcadia, Rakshasa, Sathanas, Colossus, Hygaeia, and Ravana. Pictures form my game are included.

That's because they aren't integrated in the main MVP package yet. You can either skim around the threads and collect them manually (there's a sticky in this board listing the WIP threads), or wait for the next MVP that will include them all.

No Colossus download available because it is the surprise package of the next MediaVPs. 

Ravana is actually HTL'ed but it is kinda old. You can check the difference with the retail model.

I'm considering making a big HTL pack of post-3.6.12 ships myself since I have some free time and the FSU team hasn't done it.

Matth: no, my post not an answer to that specific question, but an issue that keeps coming up is that MVPs are not being released despite the existence of many released HTL models. The real question that people have been asking is "when are we going to have a single, easy package that includes the new ships we've been seeing?". In this case, "When it's done" is a somewhat unsatisfactory and not entirely correct answer to this question given that so many assets are done.

I think we can avoid the usual MVPs hell threads, yes? If Shivan Hunter is doing this interim unofficial mvp version, I for one would enjoy it pretty much (my own vp folders are really badly organized, I could benefit from a more professional setup in this).

If it's unsatisfactory to you, then maybe you should give a hand instead of complaining.

The MVPs is more than a compilation of upgraded assets, it's also a solid guarantee that everything works as expected and doesn't break retail. Which isn't guaranteed by the single models that have been released so far. Use at your own risks.

We are in the process of testing a beta release at the moment but it is slow going as all of us are very busy both with real life and other projects. All I can ask is that you all be patient a little bit longer and please keep this thread civil.

To answer your question Headdie I think it is simply a matter of finding the time to package, test, and work out the last few bugs.

Naa, don't sweat it! This tends to happen quite a bit on HLP... It's not your fault though.

However on the issue, I have almost completed a proper guide to installing all the assets released after the official MediaVPs targeted at newcomers to FS, stay tuned... I should complete it by tomorrow!
